Abstract
This paper presents an IC for digital pills designed for long-term in-body monitoring. By using voltage stacking, the system achieves high-voltage charging and charge recycling, thereby extending the operational lifetime. The prototype chip, fabricated using 65-nm low-power CMOS technology, occupies an area of 1mm2. Measurement results demonstrate a power consumption of 260 pW under a 1.4-V power supply.
